(JPMAM) has appointed Stefania Vivarini as an ETF specialist for Australia to bolster its capabilities and distribution in the rapidly growing ETF market. Based in Sydney, Vivarini (pictured) reports to Philippe El-Asmar, head of APAC ETF, digital and direct and locally to Mark Carlile, head of wholesale, Australia and New Zealand.

Vivarini will be responsible for promoting the full range of active ETF solutions, working with clients to deliver tailored investment strategies. She has more than 18 years' experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on investment product distribution and client relationship management. 

Prior to this role, Vivarini served as a national key account manager at Vanguard Investments Australia, where she launched ETF-based separately managed accounts.

Simmons & Simmons
International law firm , the $258 billion asset management business of Prudential plc, has appointed Salman Haider as head of ASEAN and chief executive officer of Eastspring Singapore (subject to regulatory approval), in addition to his current role as chief distribution officer. Haider will continue to report to Bill Maldonado, chief executive officer, Eastspring Investments Group.

Based in Singapore, Haider joined Eastspring in March 2024 as chief distribution officer. He oversees the firm’s global distribution business and the management of its Prudential Life relationships, along with responsibilities for its Japan and Americas markets. In his expanded role covering Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, Haider will spearhead Eastspring’s growth strategy in ASEAN, in particular providing solutions for clients and delivering exceptional service for clients and stakeholders.

“Since joining us a year ago, Salman has demonstrated exceptional leadership and has been instrumental in deepening our relationships with clients,” Maldonado said. “In his expanded role, Salman will be pivotal in driving business growth and strengthening our presence in ASEAN.”
